At Gold Coast Marine Training we offer the option to complete the theory component of the boat and/or jetski licence courses face to face in our air-conditioned classroom with an experienced marine trainer. Our classroom facilities are located at Runaway Bay Marina.
Our face to face theory courses include thorough inductions on our boats and/or jetskis so you get a practical sense of the vessels before the theory starts. The theory comprises PowerPoint style modules, videos and practical exercises using charts, GPS, marine radio, safety equipment, maritime flags, day shapes, knot tieing and more.
By doing the theory with us face to face in our classroom you will benefit from having our experienced trainers available to answer any of your questions and concerns.
If you are doing the combined boat and jetski licence course or the boat licence course the theory is completed in one day. You will come in on another day for the practical component.
If you are doing the jetski only course, everything is completed in half a day with us.
Please note: For the Combo course and the Boat licence course you will pay a portion of the course cost here when registering for the theory component. You will then be charged the remaining portion when you book in for the practical day at Step 2.
